Enjoy the last word in luxury in this modern home, built in 2017, close to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Here’s a beautiful and relaxing house that’s been developed with sustainability in mind. Constructed using materials with a low carbon footprint, you’re assured a cosy stay whatever time of year you visit thanks to underfloor heating throughout and a high standard of presentation in every room. This is the ideal place to stay for a family (with a dog or 2) or a group of up to 6 friends who want peace and quiet, yet easy access to towns and amenities.
OPEN PLAN LIVING ROOM
This is the place where everyone can gather to relax together, catch-up together, and make plans for what to do next, together. From the lounge you’ll have stunning views of the local landscape to enjoy though the large windows. And when you want a change from looking at the wonders of nature, you can enjoy the wonders of technology in the form of the home’s large flatscreen Smart TV as you gather for a film or box set night-in, perhaps? This space also gives you access through the bifold doors, to the first of the home’s two balconies, but more about those later.
THE KITCHEN
In such a high quality, modern house, you’d expect to find high specification appliances in the kitchen. And you won’t be disappointed. Neff and Siemens are the big names in here, along with a Quooker tap. The presence of a wine fridge will prove popular with connoisseurs and casual wine drinkers alike. All the cookware and cutlery you’ll need are here together with a Nespresso machine and Smeg kettle and toaster.
3 BEDROOMS
All the fresh air you’ll get when staying here will mean you’ll be good and ready to sleep at the end of every day. And the trio of bedrooms will help you drift off in pure comfort. Two bedrooms are on the lower level, one of which is the master bedroom and has an en-suite. Both the rooms on this floor feature gloriously comfortable beds and built-in wardrobes, so there’s plenty of space to store your clothes and belongings. Even better, both rooms are great places to wake up in, thanks to the direct access you’ll have to the balcony. The third bedroom is easily accessible as it’s on the ground floor, with direct wheelchair friendly access to the front deck of the house. It has a kingsize bed with a quality mattress and bedding, just like the other beds in the house.
3 BATHROOMS
Between them, the trio of bathrooms (one of which is an en-suite in the master bedroom) offer you luxury spaces in which you can lie back and relax in a tub or stand up under an invigorating shower. Whichever you choose, you’ll find quality towels and toiletries are provided by your host. It’s also worth noting that the ground floor shower room with wash basin and WC is wheelchair accessible.
OUTSIDE SPACE
The house features two covered balcony areas, one on each floor. The lower level balcony features a hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower. All great for relaxation after a busy day’s hiking, biking or diving. At the front of the property there’s a decking area and summerhouse, both of which offer up opportunities to enjoy glorious sunsets over Morecambe Bay, perhaps with something bubbly in-hand.
UTILITY ROOM
No doubt you’re planning plenty of outdoor adventures during your stay. If so, you’ll be glad of the presence of the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
DOGS ARE WELCOME
We know that if you have them, dogs are part of the family and that no holiday is complete without them. That’s why well behaved dogs (max 3) are welcome to stay with you here in the house.
PARKING There is parking space for up to 3 cars right outside the house. So you won’t have far to carry your bags when you arrive.

Getting around
Getting here by car is recommended. The house is just 10 mins from Junction 35 on the M6 motorway and there are 3 parking spaces. Be sure to bring your bikes and boots as once you're here you might want to leave the car parked up and enjoy the many walks and trails that wend their way through the local landscape.
Neighborhood
This beautiful house is located in the tranquil countryside close to the village of Over Kellet which borders three counties - Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria.
It means this is a great place to base yourselves if you want to explore the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales on an escape-from-it-all weekend or longer holiday with family, as a couple or a group of friends.
Over Kellet is just a mile away and has that traditional English country village look and feel complete with a fantastic traditional pub which serves great food.
With the lakes and coast in easy access it's a perfect location to base yourselves for walking, cycling or just mooching around the local towns.
